JLA, this has always been a pretty loose ship. It basically relies on the idea that nuts and idiots will destroy themselves. And I'd say our present example is doing a superb job! What? You think he's winning anyone over? Who? At this point everyone appears to be questioning either his sanity or his morals. If you want to leave until he has completely blown it, OK. But come back. Straight steel rods have their uses too. You and I are not on different sides on this; we are allies. I agree fully with your assesements. I just handle it differently: he's so screwy, everyone will see it and he will hang himself. If you doubt that, look at the replies he's getting.
