JF, What people want to hear is not necessarily what they need to hear. The truth. Truth may be lost in the competition for ratings. I think you have it backwards. People want to hear the truth. What they get is the same old rhetoric, the same old B.S. that passes as "news analysis." What people are getting is something very diluted. When they get real news, its presented as if its gone through a filter to take out any controversy. What is reported here and what's being reported overseas are two very different things. Over time, I have learned that its the overseas outlets that are getting it more right and getting closer to the truth than the American outlets. ted
