I know less about SPRL than most here but let me try a couple of comments.

1) Re Nutmeg - I think you misread the PR. They have $30 million CURRENTLY under management. That does not mean they "have only done $30 million in deals in total" as you post. They may have done 10 times that. It's not in the PR.

2) Nutmeg is over a period of time. They won't be issuing $20 million at once. Their exposure at any one time is much less than that.

3) As for costs, the PR suggests that for exploration "Expected investment will range between $2.0 and $2.5 million for 3 wells, which should produce in excess of 500bbls per day per well."

The rest of the business plan is probably being developed. But cut them some slack. Rome wasn't built in a day.

As I said, I know a fraction compared to most who post here and just pointing out some truisms. I'm no fan of pinkies normally, but I have to say, virutally everything that has been promised or rather projected has come to pass.

You can't miss what hasn't been made public yet, Soros.

I'd surmise that a week or so '..after.." Sam gets back, you could call and get an appointment to discuss your questions at length with him - within the bounds of SEC propriety.

What you're wishing to address is typical in depth DD, but you need to keep in mind that only one day ago Strat Petroleum was simply a "..development stage company.." pursuing it'sstated business plan. Now, it's a real Oil & Gas Company; so, they will have to take steps to accomodate the more sophiticated O&G investors around.

With the next stop being AMEX, I would imagine they have already delveloped the information needed to satisfy your desires. Why don't you call them, and leave an appropriate message. Sam is pretty responsive to non-flakes.

John :-)
