Yeah, it's annoying they ask for a bank account# and all that info. A person probably should open a separate bank account just for them. They don't even tell you what their precautions are to protect your privacy.

One thing a person could do is create an entity, get a federal tax ID for it and use that info rather than your own personal name and your Soc Sec, to create a small layer of protection.
