The Democrat party now represents the wealthy and the poor and Republicans represent the middle class.

You are joking....

I prefer to read facts rather than a story crafted to convince me of the author's agenda. When I want Op/Ed, I look to the Op/Ed page. There are no non Op/Ed stories in the NYT, Wash Post, Boston Globe, LA Times, etc. IMHO, journalism is about putting facts in front of the reader. If one must editorialize, both sides should be presented, which is why I like Fox. They put a Socialist like Robert Reich on opposite a Conservative like Ann Coulter. I agree with you that they are not into Democrat policy promotion, which makes them unique.

Its too bad that Robert Reich found it necessary to slum with Coulter.

I guess that what is coming out of the mainstream left is not making much sense to me. Republicans are leading with ideas (not all good). Democrats are following with critique. One thing I learned in cross-country running was that when you are in front, it is easier to go off course. That never stopped me from leading. It does not seem to be a prohibitory impediment to President Bush either.

It would be admirable if he were doing admirable things.

If Congress would let President Bush kill a few programs, we might get a little fiscal conservation. You and I would both be happier. He submitted a zero budget for about 150 programs. Congress has resurrected and added additional funds to several slated for termination each year.

The program that needs to be downsized is not Amtrak but defense.

BTW - Message 21055668 - Sorry to bring it up again.

Sorry but saying it over and over again won't make it so.
