SANTA MARIA, Calif. - A former public relations adviser to Michael Jackson testified yesterday in the singer's criminal trial that Jackson's aides virtually kidnapped the boy who is accusing the entertainer of molesting him.
The witness said she was told of plans to make the boy's mother "look like a crack whore" if she gave Jackson trouble.

Ann Kite, who uses the name Ann Gabriel professionally, told the jury she worked for six frenzied days in early 2003 on a "crisis management" team for Jackson to combat negative press attention from a televised documentary.

The film, which the jury viewed Tuesday, shows Jackson holding hands with the boy and saying he shares his bed with children.

Jackson, 46, is charged with plying a 13-year-old recovering cancer patient with alcohol, molesting him on four occasions in 2003 at Jackson's Neverland Valley Ranch and conspiring to abduct the boy and his family and hold them captive.
