Consider the following. There were few rose petals in Iraq. PR-wise, it's been a disaster. So now there is Lebanon, and even some Lebanese openly calling for the US to go in and kick Syria out. Now they would be openly grateful, doncha think? Great pictures. Grateful population. The Syrian army would be a pushover, assuming they don't conclude that discretion is the better part of valor and all. Great footage of them fleeing back to Syria. Great sound bites on that one...


Sounds very plausible........what happens when we get to the Syrian border? Do we link up with the Israelis and invade Syria?

There's a better chance... something like half of Lebanon is Christian.
