Insider information, yes, as distinct from "insider" trading, where the insider(s) would be extremely foolish to trade in such a highly visible way.

It is also possible that the timing of CTIC's release today is, in part, due to awareness that information as to the data lock/analysis had been compromised and this was a measure of damage control.

I dont think its that subtle. i am not an options trader I understood that a lot more easily than some of the interpretations of the clinical results that i try to read. you guys analyzed the situation in real time perfectly.
