Peter, we didn't study him in school that much. My Dad's generation did, but since then the schools have focused less and less on the classics. Was curious, because if he was philosophical in nature, I would have thought following orders or commanding people isn't the way of a philosophical person. Somehow I don't see philosophical people being commanding. OTOH, maybe back then they were. Was just curious.
