Hi Reid,

Light crude pushing closer to $48, dollar stabilizing on support. Overseas markets in the green. Index futures currently trading up a bit ahead of the PPI and other reports.

I think we'll probably see a lot of volatility in the futures just prior to and after the reports.

But as of now, it looks like we'll see a modest gap up in QQQQ at the open. Based on internals particularly, my guess is that selling will follow before we get too far into the session.

Well.... scratch that previous post about a modest gap up.

Core PPI 0.8% vs. 0.2% consensus.

Time for some serious FOMC-related handwringing.

<ggg>

This could spark a more rapid decline in QQQQ, also there were some bad earnings reports this morning. Futures plunged after the announcement, and we're now looking at a gap down at the open.

Glad I'm short.
