I think Dean getting the chairmanship indicates that the moveon.org types have taken over the party from the hustlers and operators. They're whackos, but at least they're sincere. Maybe it's necessary that they crash and burn before they can rehabilitate themselves.

The Demos need so much help we may have to assist them just to maintain our own needed balance.
