Actually, if you'll get off your highhorse and see reality, energy is abundant. The issue is not one of abundance, the issue is one of cheap energy. Crude oil is the cheapest energy source we have. It is about to become expensive.

But you must not ruin your argument by claiming superficial things, such as claiming that energy is scarce. That's nonsense.

It really is a matter of how many BTUs can be concentrated into a unit per dollar (or Euro, yuan or yen).

You are confusing two separate issues.

The crisis the over-population of humans faces is that it is going to become more expensive to afford our excess population.

Not because energy will disappear. But because cheap energy will become scarce. You do understand the difference, I hope.
