I live in the midwest so I've never felt a quake (although there have been a couple based on my proximity to the Mississippi). Shake was just a word I used to describe the sensation I had in my dream. When I awakened I immediately checked my computer to see if an "newsworthy" quakes had happened last night. You know how that goes with dreams - weird stuff

I see Teddy is doing ok. I'm relieved. He's one of the good ones

I didn't think so.
Tall buildings don't shake, they wobble.

More like sway. I was on the 24th floor of the Columbia Center in Seattle during the 2001 quake - 6.8 magnitude.

I ducked under my desk, mainly because I was concerned the 8' bookcases in my office would fall over on me. They didn't fall, and we had no damage at all in our office.
