I think they should remove the cap, start applying the tax to capital gains and put in a floor, at say 20k/yr! Also, start means-testing recipients and cutting off those who don't need Social Security. Make some of these "Jesus on my sleeve" Repugnicans start walking the walk. Jesus would be FOR the above plan, to take care of the least among us, as he taught so often. It would also help the rich to distribute their wealth, which, as Jesus taught, is bad for your chances of getting to Heaven.
