Bush used terror alert warnings, planted news (i.e., close to getting OBL, etc.), Pentagon scare tactics, just about anything that'd serve to keep his polling above the 50 percent support mark for the invasion. Does anyone think there was a reason why Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and Chemical Ali were dead, then alive, then dead, then alive, then captured, then not captured, then captured over and over? These were part of many news stories from the White House propaganda machine's bid to keep public approval and support for the war above the 50 percent mark.
