I was disagreeing with why you seem to be set upon attacking him. Things aren't usually black and white as you seem to want to make them.

He's either a sinner or a saint? My experience is that everyone is a bit of both. I've read summaries of his work but don't I don't think he can be classified as a crank because he sells products and services on the side. I've got my own opinions about health and wellness based upon my own reading and observations and don't need to follow anyone or any path with a dogmatic blind fervor, whether it be politics, health or religion.

I didn't see anything he's written that can be characterized as "He says asbestos and other toxins have nothing to do with cancer." That seems to be a hyperbolic distortion of his thesis which is approximately 'nutritional profiles are often more predictive than single toxicological causes in the epidemiological study of disease'. I'd agree with that. You'd have to show me in print where he said something else as lame as what you attribute to him. If you find it, I'll concede that he may have some agenda.

Dr. (doctor), BTW, is an appropriate title for a professor of Animal Nutrition in the Department of Nutritional Sciences and doesn't need to be quoted...

<<He says asbestos and other toxins have nothing to do with cancer.>>

Wow, this country spent a lot of money getting rid of asbestos for nothing in that case.

I've read that the World Trade Center wouldn't have collapsed if they had been allowed to use asbestos to fire proof the buildings.
