Ann is brilliant, funny and dogmatic.

A few examples of her brilliance and dogmatic qualities...

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and
convert them to Christianity."

"The good part of being a Democrat is that you can commit crimes, sell out your base, bomb foreigners, and rape women, and the Democratic faithful will still think you're the greatest." [1]

"Indeed, an attack on America by fanatical Muslims had finally provided liberals with a religion they could respect." [1]

"Liberals hate America, they hate 'flag-wavers', they hate abortion opponents, they hate all religions except Islam (post 9/11). Even terrorists don't hate America like liberals do." [1]

And what's Coulter? If I were on the right, I would consider her a disgrace and an embarrassment. There are few who are more offensive than her.

Ann is brilliant, funny and dogmatic. I find her ability to handle the invariable attacks from liberals she is put up opposite very refreshing. While the Democrat partisan is ranting on, she will quietly but persistently repeat her point that was rudely interrupted. Is what annoys her encyclopedic knowledge? Perhaps it is something about being a smart thin blond.

Apparently, her looks have kept you from truly hearing her words.......they so full of anger and prejudice that you have to wonder what was done to her as a child. Keep her in the forefront and the right can be assured the schism between the right and the left will grow deeper.

"Clinton cut Defense to the point that taming two small countries has stretched our military. How low do you suggest we go? Do you speak Chinese? It might be a good idea to learn the language of your new masters now. <g>"

Masters? Sorry, Peter, that's not funny even for a second.

It was meant to be thought provoking. The Chinese are amassing a huge arsenal of weapons. They are building ballistic missiles. The Chinese are spending more on defense than any country except the US. They have no foreign bases to drain their spending away. Their costs are lower and their wages are lower.

Not according to the list that was posted recently. China is a distant third behind the US, and neck and neck with Japan and the UK:

The Chinese have the most unfair system of justice of any major economy. Did you now that an administrative judge can lock people up for decades with no trial? They are planning for war with the US. Within a few decades, China will have the largest economy in the world. People who do not view China as a threat to our security are in a different reality than the Chinese are.

No question that China's gov't leaves a lot to be desired but as has been discussed on the thread before, political freedom usually follows economic freedom. There is no question that China is becoming more capitalistic. Can political freedom be far behind?
