But I believe he is correct...The big difference is that islam is a violent religion and Christian religions for the most part are peaceful. Course is the past the christian religions have been violent as well but to day they are not.

From what history I have been able to find and read it appears that islam has always been violent as numerous countries that were invaded by islam could attest to and whose citizens were forced to convert. islam is still violent to day.

But in any case IMO religious indoctrination is the same in all organized religions.... it starts at birth and the child will believe what they have been taught...they have no real choice..... ie. kids that strap bombs on themselves and go out and commit murder in the name of their god as they have been taught to do..

I view religions as just another form of government....not necessarily bad and a lot of the time serves a good purpose.
