So you say one was minor, innocent, and careful and the other was major and a deliberate attack--that's the difference. The innocent and careful thinking-out-loud idea has a lot of actual, you know, scientific evidence backing it up - positing that there are genetic differences in the development of male and female brains is not a controversial position - while the major, deliberate, let's-slime-the-military-again attack, has zero evidence to back it up, even when Jordan could have recouped his position by producing some. Of course, you can think that evidence doesn't matter if you like.
