Most of the federal budget isn't "discretionary," so your next attempt at hyperbole is moot.


Yes, and why is that? ......because the rest of the budget funding is required by law. However, when we have the discretion to fund what we want, half of our revenue goes to defense. Hardly hyperbole......in fact, its the cold hard truth.

May be if we stopped screwing with the world and made it possible for others to reach our standard of living, tyrants wouldn't find a ready audience.

And that's why you supported Saddam staying in power?


If you were so against Saddam being in power, why did you not opposed Reagan when he was sending and selling arms to Saddam in the 1980s?
