Greenspan admits a housing bubble in some areas, but not Nationwide? Hmmm ... the recent FDIC report says that 40% of Americans live in "boom" areas. That is the largest housing boom they have ever measured.

NOTE: FDIC defines a "boom" as "a 30 percent or greater increase in inflation-adjusted (or real) home prices during any three-year period".

Even most of the other 60% (outside of Detriot <g>) have seen some housing price appreciation over the last 3 years - just not 30%. Where I live, housing is up close to 30% in just the last year!
