The WMD paranoia seems to have been unjustified as to Iraq and it might similarly be unjustified as to Iran. Don't know. But with the sunk costs Iran has already committed and the fact that their fossil fuel supplies are both limited and much in demand by India and China, I can easily understand why Iran might want to do some nuclear electricity generation, especially now that they don't even have to worry about the spent fuel storage. I wonder what Russia is intending to do with it.
