re: This very common perception is just one example of how some conservatives have managed to frame the issues. A lot of people believe that the wealthy in this country use very little in the way of government services and the poor use the most. I would love to see a breakdown on the spending number. And also on the revenue side. This year corporations are enjoying a tax holiday on repatriated dollars, at a 5% tax rate. I'm not necessarily against that program, but we need to understand that the rest of us pay the balance. John
