I hope someone presses Guckert on his claim that he had written news stories before he ever was given the first daily press pass. Maureen Dowd said she was told it would take 2 months to be checked out by security. If this is true then Guckert would have had to apply for a pass 2 months before he ever was allowed to get his first pass. This would be over 2 months before Talon News was ever a website. In those two months he would have had to have written some stories for GOPUSA. If he didn't then he needs to show proof that he wrote stories for someone else. I don't think he can prove this. Anderson Cooper touched on this tonight but he didn't follow up on it enough to pin Guckert down on exactly when and for who he first wrote articles and became a reporter. If Guckert didn't even take that phony 2 day GOP journalism course until after the two month period of investigation period started it looks to me like what is mostly a lot of smoke now may just ignite. I think there may be enough evidence now that this story will start getting legs of it's own without help from the bloggers. Maybe the mainstream media will be forced to give it coverage. I'll bet Karl and Scott and many others are holding non stop meetings trying to fabricate a plausible cover story for Guckert and his phony journalism career.
