Researhers don't like spending a lot of time on things that are going to run up against a political dead end. Summers just opened up the debate and this allows researchers to ask questions they could not ask before or if asked would be considered beyond the pale.

There is no one researching or is capable of researching a link between the gene that determines sex and genes that determine intelligence of any kind (musical, mathematical, verbal, whatever).

At this point, we don't have good answers, but the future most likely will. We should encourage people to study such things, as well as foster moral views that welcome diversity. Red tulips and yellow Daffodils are both beautiful.
