Teaching is at the bottom along with the rather vague grouping called Liberal Arts. And this is after the biggest annual increase in all starting salaries...............11% for teachers. Top starting salary in the country is chemical engineering at 53K. Teachers and Liberal Arts are at 30K and 29K respectively. Makes me wonder why I am going through all this aggravation to be a teacher. Then again, I will start higher because I coming equipped with a grad. degree. ted
