I must say that these days under Bush, this country has become very adept at breeding insecurity as evidenced by growing insecurity all around. Right from those hanging onto jobs that are being increasingly outsourced, to kids graduating out of schools where the Bushies are continuing to assure them that they "will not be left behind". This is a far cry from yesteryears where American kids were being told that "the sky is the limit". Such a slide to mediocrity should be of concern to us all.

Adding to the people's misery and insecurity is this Administration which continues to convince people that the country itself is insecure in the face of a never ending scenario of terrorist attacks.

Then there are the various federal agencies insecure about maintaining America's position as a world leader and Super Power, what with China and India emerging as new global economic and scientific powers.

Now if there was one thing that we Americans were somewhat assured of in life was Social Security after retirement. Not anymore.
