With the world population increasing at a rate 3 per second we are overpopulating the earth at too high a rate.

I would suggest that each human on the planet is a heat source, energy taken from the earth. May not sound like much on first thought but multiply that times the world population. That's primary. Secondary, think of all the energy used by each additional person in the form of autos, heating in the winter, cooling in the summer, cooking etc, etc. A very long list could be created. I would also suggest that these heat sources are contributing to Global Warming as much if not more then emissions.
