You are exactly correct on Don. I think he is one hell of an EW'er, but doesn't necessarily advertize it.

So far his longer term prognosis, made many moons ago, seems to be on track. I continue to think we are going to get one boom of move in the general markets, following a retrenchment later this year to set it all up.

The DOW imo is in the midst of up/down motion that it will go through here as it proceeds to break out.

I think Don has been talking 20,000 type numbers. I can see that as an outside possibility, but per my charting a little on the high side perhaps.

I am sticking to my plan, and if it seems to come to be, going in, short this summer, long at the end of the year, then short as hell in '06. In the meantime the bulk of my money will be pm's and maybe basemetals. My read is it all pm's here now, and if we get a big move in '06 basemetals will utterly explode.

I gave a link to LG's board previous. Folk should follow it some.

In edit: Ram there have been others advocating this of late as well. Late comers. Cliff Droke and his Global Synchronized Economy for example. I suscribe to these theories, at present.

The NY Composite recently made a new ATH, and it wasn't due to no B corrective wave either. It appears to be a major impulse up in progress, and we are now just hitting the epicenter of that impulse.

I have a hard time with anyone who basically says, "everyone will get rich." As in everything, for every winner, there is a loser. I have an easier time seeing the Dow and gold meet at 3000 than gold $2,000 and Dow 40,000.

I remain,

SOROS

<<DON WOLANCHUK-was the lone mega-bull on stocks in the 90s>>

That is just plain funny and doesn't even need further comment
