To: Raymond Duray who wrote (10090 ) 3/1/2005 9:00:35 AM From: LPS5 Respond to of 20039 If the poster that you compliment for his libertarian leanings were something other than a fraud, we would hear a lot more out of him about the depredations to our civil liberties via such atrocities as the USA PATRIOT Act and the newest abomination, the 3,000 page Intelligence Czar Act. Slightly odd that you'd on one hand appear to be endorsing the discussion of topics far removed from the attacks of September 11th...and yet constantly remind people to stay on topic.Message 21068616 Odd indeed. Not surprising, but odd at any rate. And odder still that, in making the above statement about my posts, you're tangientally asserting that you've any sort of familiar with my posts - indeed, perhaps even have me bookmarked - whilst simultaneously urging others to put me on ignore.Message 21064001 How does it go? "Curiouser and curiouser"? :-)But no, he doesn't seem in the least bit concerned about these blatantly anti-libertarian issues. He's only concerned about disputing anyone here who doesn't acquiesce to the official fairy tale about 9/11. I've never said that no conspiracy exists or, for that matter, that research - unlike what has been shown here (editorials, unsubstantiated theories, and dogged clinging to long-invalidated assertions) - isn't worth pursuing. I've only said, and continue to say, that until now any of the so-called evidence I've seen is so easily refuted as to bring immediate, even if unwarranted, discredit upon the expressor. Add to that blistering personal and political invective, as well as a spirited unwillingness to be criticized (not the least of which in studiously avoiding documentation for certain assertions) and, well...you don't have, from what I can see here and elsewhere, the embryonic beginnings of a compelling movement that will re-examine the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001. That strikes me as a very odd and hypocritical sort of libertarianism. Being scrutinizing, analytical, exacting in detail? Not easily moved by emotion or political expedience? I believe the intellectual permissiveness you're endorsing is part and parcel to the thought-bankrupcy of socialism.I've cited Rep. Ron Paul...on SI several times. He's a real libertarian with a strong voice and clear message. I cannot recall ever seeing this thread's fraudulent libertarian discussing Ron Paul's anti-government stance. Not only have I cited him, many times... Message 20939269 ...but I've discussed him with you as well.Message 19797397 LOL! In fact, the fraud who infects this thread... Yawn. You've called yourself a "socialist" and a "leftist"...Message 20089911 ...an "anti-big-government libertarian"...Message 19779632 ...and, a "radical convervative."Message 20065446 Straddle much? Given that, I'm not sure you're equipped, in knowledge or intelligence, to assess the purity of anyone's political position....seems to be consistently in favor of the militarized police state that criminals like George Bush are creating. As evidenced by what?e
