Gannongate One problem with this is the gay aspect. Under the circumstances, it is amusing, but is also a distraction from the issues. It could easily derail investigation of the serious aspects, just like Memogate derailed investigations of AWOLgate. Gannon/Guckert had access, access he shouldn't of had. Apparently, he attended at least one press conference before Talon even existed. According to that article, he got leaks about stuff that even high powered journalists didn't. This, when combined with the paying of pundits and the making of faked news reports presents a disturbing pattern of an administration that has no respect for the truth. Not that we didn't know it before, but what we didn't, and probably still don't, know was the scale...

STAHL: I do not understand, having covered the White House for as long as I did, how he [Gannon] got, I just don't get it, how he got a press pass on a false name, on an alias, I don't know how that happened. You have to be cleared through the Secret Service in order to get a press pass, which you have to wear at all times. I mean, there's something behind this story which hasn't come out, clearly. My God! Oh please God, make her statement true........oh please God, make it true! I have never hated an administration more. The amount of damage they have done this country is inexcusable. ted
