Seems like folks had similar remarks when I called an intermediate top in PM shares in Sept. 2003. As I recall things spiked even higher for about a month, and then corrected Chinese water torture style for over a year. So don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to call a top to the day or week, I'm just not THAT good, but the risks of one are increasing. Would I be surprised to see energy shares go higher? Not especially, but not my cup of tea anymore, as I was generally long the sector all the way back to late 02. As a rule I try to leave later stage parabolics to others.
