Secretly taped phone calls to Bush appear to reveal drug use

Oops.

chron.com;

Yes, I saw that on the news at the gym today. I couldn't believe he didn't think people should admit to it because it would encourage kids to use. Rather, it was better to tell kids nothing and forbid their participation. Isn't that how he's treating the American public on certain matters?

As for the released tapes, some are not sure how to portray the action. However, if it happened to me, I would feel betrayed.........what I say privately, and what I say publicly on a subject may be two different things........for that reason alone, I would not want the tapes released. For a 'friend' to tape me without my knowledge and then release them to the public is a huge transgression IMO. It seems that almost periodically, Bush is betrayed by one person or another. It doesn't sound like they respect him very much.

What's your take on the release? I might add that some of the released tape place him in a very good light.
