I wish there were statistics on how many of the worldwide suicide bombers were Shia versus Sunni. I bet the overwhelming majority were Sunni. That might be for very good reason..........90% of Muslims are Sunni. ;~) If Shias like to self-flagellate, more power to them. If they like to flagellate others, then they become a menace that must be dealt with. From what I understand, people who are into S&M tend to be versatile.......that is, they like to hurt others as well as themselves. However, its not a subject in which I am well schooled. <g> ted
