Like him or not, Bush's lasting legacy will be that he did more than any other President to bring democracy to the Middle East:

First Afghanistan, then Iraq. Lebanon in progress...maybe Egypt and Iran next. The dominos are falling.

So taken in context of all the thread talk of defending homosexuality, the inference that "healthy sexual activity" means homosexual activity wasn't too far of a jump. Is that what you meant, Elroy, or did I infer too much?

I'm not interested in the hetero versus homo gene versus learned discussion, so yeah, you got it wrong.

I meant the government of the US should promote greater sexual activity amongst its population. The US is too prude in my opinion, and few people (at least that I know) say that the've had too many sex partners in their life, whereas plenty seem to have had too few. A woman that has sex with lots of men in her life should be considered popular and well liked, not a slut.

People with full lives taste lots of different cuisines, drink a wide variety of wines, enjoy a vast collection of great literature on numerous topics, and should be encouraged to have in depth physical relations with a wide variety of other people. Sex usually means that you are physically and often mentally attracted to someone, so we should have more of it!

And of course people should do it in a healthy fashion!

A poll. Who on this thread would not like to have had more sex partners than they did when they were in their younger, exploratory years?

It's one of the great unmet basic needs of American society.

A quote from Elroy's post: "I've already said I think he should be trying to encourage more healthy sexual activity among Americans, but somehow I don't think he will...."

You inferred too much. I didn't think he was talking gay sex. I bet he will concur.
