It involved my father, who in his dream turned into a scary zombie named Butch. WHAT have you been letting your son watch on TV? Great story, though. The boys are already amazed that we used slide rules and carbon paper in school. That I grew up with a black and white tv with only three channels leaves them reeling. And being raised in a town without a fast food restaurant seems to be the equivalent of a wagon in the Wild West. They're even amazed at the primitive lifestyle of their early years. How did I live without a computer til I was 9, asks CW, shaking his head, obviously impressed with his own determination to survive in spite of the hardships.
