Ted, That's not the diet to which I was referring.

My bad. Don't worry about me, I'm not one of those spoiled brats who thinks it's my God-given right to guzzle gas and live in paradise.

Speaking of which, it's raining cats and dogs here again, and every night on the local news, I see reports of mudslides threatening and/or wrecking million dollar homes, such as those in Anaheim Hills, Mission Viejo, and Laguna Beach. Like the newscasters, I too am thinking, "Geez, what a loss," but then I wonder whether the news is paying way too much attention to this. Obviously if the home owners can afford such luxurious homes in the first place, they can easily afford to recover and move on with their lives. (Either that, or they deserve the consequences of not planning ahead.) So where's the story?
