I'm with y'all on Walmart; I almost never go there; maybe once a year, cuz they are the only ones around with a lot of computer games.
However, as for TGT, it has been very, very good to my family. Dad bought some, I'm not sure how much, of Mervyns, which was later bought by TGT, or Dayton Hudson, as it was then called. When the Mall Rat was born, 17 years and 6 days ago, Mom and Dad gave her 50 shares, about $35 per, I believe. One day, I looked at her account, and decided I should sell half of the 600!!! shares she now owned; did so over a 3 year period at about $45 for each of the 3 sales.
I think Mom still has a lot; I sold my 50 about 17 years and 6 days ago to pay for birthing the said Mall Rat. I probably made out better than she did :-) , cuz all she got was money.
