Marks and Spencer vented baked cookie smells throughout the store- it used to drive me INSANE. And I think we bought a lot more cookies in Scotland than we do here :-) But then we walked so much it really didn't matter. We can but try to live better, and live healthier, and make a smaller and smaller footprint in the world. It's all about trying, imo, just like life is about the journey, and arriving isn't so important (especially when you remember that the END of the journey is death- blech)
