How does changing the term non-lethal prevent law suits? People sue gun manufactures quite often and some win. Robbery with the use of a weapon is armed robbery. Period. Be it a gun, knife, taser, or big stick.>> You must be kidding??? So, you think robbery with a stick carries the same charges as a robbery with a gun?? I do not think robbing somebody with a stick is going to get you anything more then a basic robbery charge..maybe a tad more..but you certainly aren't going to get robbery with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.......And HOW can they charge a TASR user with "deadly weapon"..."with intent to kill"...if TASR's are considered NON LETHAL??? And yes, sorry, but TASR saying weapons are NON LETHAL makes THEM 100% liable for any lawsuits....however, if the weapon is reclassified, how are people going to sue TASR, the Company??? If they are open and forthright and if weapons are regulated and declared at least possibly lethal...then the USER or MISUSER of the weapon will get sued, not TASR.....I am sure the major gun manufacturers get sued occasionaly, but not because some cop misused his gun and killed somebody or hurt somebody...the police force or the city will get sued, not the gun manufacturer......I can only see the gun manufacturer geting sued if there was a defect in the weapon that caused harm.....Look how many people "misuse" guns...do you think everytime some kid or anybody else without a license to use a gun, uses one, the gun maker gets sued??? NEVER.....It is not the gun makers fault...their weapons are regulated and enforced with laws...they dont get sued everytime a gun is misused...how ridiculous.....
