What you say makes a lot of sense, but of the many options available, they chose the one that returns the best profit, and while they are in business for exactly that, it would appear to be the quickest way to the greatest pain for many.

The interest rates are already exorbitant, with the excuse of covering bad debts, but it is the easy credit created by them having spent hundreds of millions touting, causing the bad debts.

Sign of the times I guess.
