I don't recall ever saying that. I used the term "armed robbery" no more no less. How about a knife is that in your words "intent to kill">> Actually, without looking, I believe you said robbery is robbery whether you use a knife, gun or stick..or something to that effect...basically implying that all robberies are the same, which is very, very untrue....as far as a knife being 'intent to kill'...I am neither a judge nor a lawyer so cannot answer that, but do know enough about the law to know there are different types, intents and etc, of almost all crimes. <<re: 100% liable for any lawsuits Now your practicing law. Get a grip, and quit putting words in others mouths. Me thinks you are short this one.>> No, not practicing law, just simple common sense. The reason TASR is being sued, the reason TASR has all these 'safety' and 'human rights' groups coming after them, the reason many are holding off on placing orders, the reason for most all of their problems is because THEY Tout and MARKET these as "NON-LETHAL". Regardless of what sources they use to market the product and what tests have ben done, THEY are SOLEY responsible for putting it on the market as a NON LETHAL weapon. They are going to be sued for anything, not the user as the user bought a product marketed as NON LETHAL....Frankly, I am surprised you are so naive on this issue.....Think about it....WHo is selling the weapon? TASR. WHO is Marketing it as NON LETHAL? TASR. They will be the ones being sued for anything, not the user of the weapon. Now take guns. Sheez, there are hundreds of thousands more guns in use then TASR's. People use them for both good and bad everyday. However guns are a LETHAL weapon and regulated by the gov't. Smith and Wesson has NOTHING to worry about if a 15 year old kid shoots his granparents or if a cop uses excess force and shoots somebody...or any other happenings with a gun.....individuals may get sued...police forces or cities may get sued....but not the gun maker as they have done nothing wrong.....They are LETHAL weapons. Period. It is that simple. They market them as lethal and they are regulated as lethal....the gun makers have nothing to worry about....How or why you cannot see such a simple thing is beyond me, but whatever.....we are all entitled to our opinions and you are certainly entitled to yours......Short? Me?? LOL, now I am really laughing. I would love to say I shorted TASR from the top, but the fact is, I owned it long for a short period..made a few bucks r8ight before and after the last split, got stopped out of the last of my shares awhile ago, I think at $20. I am not only NOT short this stock, but I have never been short this stock, and never will be short this stock....I am not smart enough to be a short <lol>, so I use puts and calls as a hedge, but I dont short equities.
