That's a lot of reading Ray, and I am not up to it all, but I did skim through some of it and I "get it". Some of these examples are so obvious, it almost makes one sick.

I can't get FOX news here, but that site which says "we watch FOX news so you don't have to" makes me smile.

It is unfortunate that mainstream news outlets have openly become disseminators of propaganda and spin. And they make no excuse for their blatant political agenda instead arguing it is their right. It is a serious matter because many people are deceived. I think this is a relatively recent phenomena, which is now spreading world wide. (I'm thinking about the B.B.C.) Just to confuse the masses, they might even throw a few honest facts into their reporting from time to time! It is almost as if we are in a perpetual state of war, and the truth indeed is the first casualty. That is why I am skeptical and jaded. In the end, you believe what you want to believe, because facts are elusive.

And by the way, the spinning of the news works equally well from the left, although I think most of the media is right wing.

I'll get back to a little more reading. <g>
