Apollo Resources International Announces Biodiesel Refinery Project
Wednesday March 16, 2:07 pm ET

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 2005--Apollo Alternative Fuels, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Apollo Resources International, Inc. (OTCBB:AOOR - News), today announced that Earth Biofuels Inc. has selected southeastern Oklahoma as the location to construct its second biodiesel refinery. Apollo Alternative Fuels, through its 50% ownership in Earth Biofuels, will be the first biodiesel producer serving both the retail and wholesale markets in the state of Oklahoma and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area. The new biodiesel refinery is projected to produce approximately 10 million gallons of pure biodiesel fuel per year, which equates to 50 million gallons of blended government grade B20 biodiesel fuel per year.
Earth Biofuels CEO, Tommy Johnson, stated, "Due to the nationwide private and government demand for biodiesel fuel, we wish to expand upon the success of our first biodiesel refinery in Mississippi. We plan to construct the refinery in conjunction with a local strategic partner. The state of Oklahoma, with its various state, local, and rural economic development incentives, as well as its proximity to fueling stations along the US-75 and I-35 highway corridors, makes this location an excellent choice for our new refinery's construction."

Tommy Johnson, who also serves as President of Apollo Alternative Fuels, continued, "We anticipate announcing the execution of definitive agreements with our local strategic partner within 30 days."

Apollo Resources International is a public energy company focused on the acquisition and development of upstream oil and natural gas production assets. Additionally, the Company evaluates and develops existing and future economically viable alternative energy sources.
