I have principles. You didn't say it directly but I'm not stupid. I pride myself an being a sharp, well spoken, introspective, good thinking man. I have morals and values that guide me. I've found that nobody is perfect and that I'll never agree 100% with our government. But at the end of the day, unless I'm willing to run and people are willing to vote for someone who isn't a multi millionaire, I can't complain. If I were the president I would be Washington D.C's worst nightmare. I would call out the corrupt in the same way that Reagan used TV to reach the people. I would outline my beliefs and why I believe them to be fair and logical. I would be honest with even the issues we don't want to hear about. I would be forthright in every way unless national security was an issue. I would surround myself with friends that I have known, are highly educated and that I trust. These are people that I can look directly in their eye and know and trust what they are thinking and saying.

Thats what I would do.

On the issues I think you would be amazed at how I would task SS and deal with certain foreign policy issues.
