Hillary Clinton, the Next GW Bush: She Wants to Run Iraq

By Sam Hamod

Al-Jazeerah, February 22, 2005

"America has one party with two names," Jesse Jackson

Once again, showing that she's as evil politically as her husband, ex-president Clinton, the shill for Israel--Hillary Clinton is in the infamous American fortress called "the green zone," telling the Iraqis who should be their next Prime Minister by speaking out against the victorious election party's choice, Dr. Jaafari.

It is interesting that she, in league with other zionist leaning senators had to rush to Iraq, to stay in the Green Zone and start making comments about who should be running Iraq. Their chief gripe against Dr. is that he's a moderate, loyal to Iraq and that he's a religious Muslim (not a hypocrite like Allawi and Chalabi). Hillary and GW Bush prefer the whores like themselves; people who have no scruples, no ethics or real belief in God, but use God's name in vain for their own ends. With all of Hillary's criticism of Bush, it turns out she's part of the same game, with the same goals, and is no better than GW Bush in her imperialistic behavior.

As an independent person, who wants real DEMOCRACY for the world, I think it is time we call Hillary home, and tell her to quit being like so many other Republocrat clones, GW Bush clones, and stand up for freedom and democracy. After all, who tells Hillary what to do, and gives her the money to remain in office--the biggest zionist voting bloc in history, in New York City. Thus, Hillary is there to do the bidding of her zionist constituency, not the American people's constituency, nor for freedom or justice in the world.

I call her as much a prostitute as her husband because all of us who know the Middle East and the truth about the Arafat/Barak/ Clinton talks know that Bill Clinton sold the chance for peace down the river for zionist support for Hillary. We also know that the"good deal" Clinton talked about would have given the Palestinians much less than 242, the rightful UN mandate on the Palestine/Israeli conflict, and would have given the Palestinians non-contiguous Bantustans. In other words, not a state, but a bunch of disconnected villages, no control of water, transport, electricity or any rights to their own policing.

Now Hillary is in Iraq to do the bidding of Sharon and his zionist friends in NYC and in the Senate, people like sleazy Joe Lieberman, one of of the first Republocrats to endorse GW Bush's designs to attack Iraq and her congressional colleagues like Israel firsters Lantos, King, Schumer and the lot.

It is time for Americans to stand up for democracy, not to be shunted aside by whores and liars who ran the government under Clinton and their friends who run it under GW Bush. Where are the Eisenhowers, the Washingtons, the Lincolns, the Carters--all we have left are a bunch of people who are making enemies for us in the world and even here at home by selling out our democracy for their own ends.

It's time we all join an independent party and quit giving money to these fraudulent "American parties"--the Republocrats and the Republicans.

I hate to say this, but these people like GW Bush, Hillary, Mc Cain, Kerry are making enemies that are going to kill more of our troops and will bring down sabotage against all of us in our country and as we travel overseas; not because of anything we've done wrong, except allowing them to hold office. People will want to kill us because of their way of treating others in the world, from the Atlantic to the Pacific they are making these enemies--and the enemies will end up killing us while Hillary, GWB and their gangs will be protected by Secret Service and later by bodyguards. Tis a shame.

I hope our nation and our democracy survives these duplicituous, undemocratic and disloyal scum.

By HERB KEINON

Sharon's close advisor and Israel's top PR man is so eager to be a player on the international stage that he's willing to give a kashrut certificate to a known anti-semite.

One day high-powered political strategist Eyal Arad is in Kfar Hamaccabiah as part of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's negotiating team, facing off against a Labor Party delegation over forming a new coalition. A few days later he is in Bucharest, giving advice to a leading Romanian presidential candidate.

Were that candidate not Corneliu Vadim Tudor, a man with a record of anti-Semitic outbursts, Arad would likely be a source of pride for Israelis who enjoy seeing native sons playing prominent roles on the world's stage.

But the candidate is Tudor, and, rather than being a source of pride, Arad's involvement with Tudor, the head of the Greater Romania Party, is for many an acute embarrassment.

"I think it is disgusting," says Efraim Zuroff, director of the Simon Wiesenthal Center's Israel office. "It is purely mercenary."

And Zuroff is not alone.

Yad Vashem severed its ties with Arad's public-relations company, Israel's largest, and issued an explanation saying it "views cooperation between Israeli organizations or individuals and anti-Semitic entities as unethical and highly objectionable. It is shameful that such a prominent figure in Israeli public life as Eyal Arad is lending his hand to such a suspicious venture as Vadim Tudor's election campaign. Even if Tudor has truly improved his view of Jews, it is improper to enter such a relationship with him so quickly. There is no way to know at this stage whether or not Tudor's supposed transformation is nothing more than an election stunt."

The Wiesenthal Center and Yad Vashem were only two of a number of organizations and governmental bodies, including the Foreign Ministry, that tried to dissuade Arad from running Tudor's election campaign, but to no avail. In March Arad signed a contract with the candidate; the election is scheduled for November 28.

Israeli diplomatic officials say that Arad's connection with Tudor has strengthened the anti-Semitic stereotype that Jews will do anything for money. Also not lost on the Romanian public, the officials say, is the irony that a prominent Israeli who has Sharon's ear is representing a man boycotted by the Israeli Embassy in Bucharest.

Arad's detractors, and they are many, say he is being used by Tudor to "purify" the candidate's anti-Semitic past, and to enable him to overcome his current pariah status both in Romania and around the world.

Though Tudor came second in the 2000 Romanian presidential elections, no Romanian party - because of Tudor's xenophobic and anti-Semitic views at the time - would consider him a legitimate coalition partner. According to the critics, hiring Arad, a high-profile Israeli who ran Sharon's successful campaign in 2001 and 2003, was meant to buy Tudor this legitimacy.

Tudor, the "court poet" during the days of Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceaucescu, emerged shortly after Ceaucescu was toppled to publish Romania Mare ("Greater Romania"), a magazine that immediately proved popular for its anti-Semitic, nationalistic, and xenophobic content. He frequently attacked the country's Hungarian, Jewish, and Gypsy populations.

In 1992, he founded his political party and entered parliament. He ran for president in 1996 and finished fifth. He ran again in 2000 and finished second.

"Israeli diplomatic officials say that Arad's connection with Tudor has strengthened the anti-Semitic stereotype that Jews will do anything for money." Well, sort of... More accurately, it has strengthened the suspicion that Judeofascists will do anything for the furtherance of Zionism/Greater Israel. They'd ally themselves with the Devil himself or, more to the point, with Dracula himself --Romania's most famous son.

A Season of Depressing Political Re-Runs

By John Chuckman

Al-Jazeerah, February 24, 2005

Recent political events resemble nothing so much as re-runs of movies that should never have been released the first time.

Bush has gone to Europe to "ease tensions" in the NATO alliance. Of course, those very tensions were his work entirely, but a sense of the ridiculous never discourages a Jehovah's Witness with a long list of house calls to make.

If you read the fine print under the marketing blurbs for Bush's trip - much like the microscopically-printed disclaimer for a new prescription drug that hasn't undergone adequate testing - you will see that Bush's effort is directed at nothing more than securing European help in the mess he has made of Iraq. This is just a new, more subdued episode of previous Bush whining about being "either with us or against us." He wants a shred of legitimacy for what he's done, and he wants other people to help pay his enormous bills. Fortunately, it appears at this writing that Europe, while listening politely and offering a cookie to soothe Bush's whining, is not about to alter its sensible course.

In another dreary re-run, America's Republicans have focused their vicious rage against Kofi Anan, now attacking his son to get at him. This might seem bizarre coming from the friends of Enron, WorldCom, and Halliburton, people whose President made his first dollar in an oil-stock deal that should have seen the SEC sending him to jail, but hypocrisy has become almost a point of pride with Republicans, particularly the Sequined Christian Warrior Wing of the party.

The personal attacks against Anan and his son recall the attacks on former President Clinton and his wife. When it wasn't about real estate, it was about sex, and when it wasn't about sex, it was about a friend's suicide. Whatever it was, it had nothing to do with governing the country or policy differences. The noise went on for eight mind-numbing years, revealing an immense store of hatred and the finances to promote it.

Anan was actually America's compromise to replace Boutros Boutros Ghali, a distinguished intellectual and diplomat, hated and pushed from his post by Americans. His crime was being too cosmopolitan and not pro-American enough, Americans so often blurring the initials U.N. into U.S. Well, since Ghali's departure, the standard of adequate pro-Americanism has swelled like a malignant brain tumor. The soft-spoken, urbane Anan is just not good enough now, having quietly said during Bush's re-election campaign that the American invasion of Iraq was illegal, which it clearly was. Anyway, urbanity alone can get you into serious trouble with the Grand Ole Opry crowd running Washington.

A pathetic re-run was the election in Iraq. We saw it in Vietnam and in other places, the claim that some great change had come through forced, much-photographed (and rigged) elections. All those light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel columns and press releases when all that was at the end of the tunnel was a stupendous pile of burnt Vietnamese corpses, mainly civilians. Well, that part too is being repeated in Iraq. Dead civilians. Piles of them every week.

It is reported on the Internet that the Shiite coalition actually received a much larger vote than the figure set to headlines by America's Office of Auxiliary Propaganda, usually only known by names such as the New York Times, the Washington Post, and CBS. The vote apparently was shaved behind the scenes from around 60% to 48%, so that the new Iraqi government wouldn't come in feeling its oats. After all, they have a lot to swallow, including indefinite occupation, the establishment of permanent American airbases, and a new embassy big and well-equipped enough to provide a Middle East White House and Spa for the convenience and comfort of future visiting American dignitaries.

Ah, such faith in democracy! But that is how the game of democracy is played in America itself. The man with the never-explained electronic hump on his back during television debates was "elected" twice using just such methods or variants. Bush holds office with about the same sense of legitimacy as the White House press credentials of a Karl Rove operative with nude pictures on the Internet.

Palestine's new President, Mahmoud Abbas, is working extremely hard to satisfy every demand of Israel. It is hard to avoid the unpleasant impression of a new maid polishing every spoon and fork late into the night. What is not apparent right now is that Sharon and Abbas have very different ideas of what it is that Abbas is working towards. Abbas certainly has in mind the end of occupation and a genuinely independent Palestinian state. Sharon has in mind the privilege of Abbas continuing through an endless maze called the peace process.

The word "process" should be retired from the English language for a while. Everything has become a process. We have education processes instead of education, political processes instead of politics, and peace processes instead of peace. Sticking "process" onto other words represents an effort to make whatever is happening seem bigger and more impressive than it actually is. I could be convinced to exclude "peace process" from the proposed ban, the inflated nothingness of the phrase pretty much fitting reality in this one instance.

It's all a re-run because, despite many failings, no one worked harder for an extended period to build the foundations of a Palestinian state and peace with Israel than Arafat. He turned his back on the written reason for his party's founding, fought a fierce battle with other Palestinian parties, and worked hard for the Oslo Accords. It was all for nothing. At Camp David he was offered the statehood-equivalent of a set of empty barracks at several abandoned Israeli military bases surrounded by barbed wire. Sharon, assisted by the Electronic Hunchback of Washington, grotesquely shoved Arafat into a corner with no permission to speak or travel. Sharon publicly threatened Arafat several times with murder, and of course the circumstances of Arafat's death remain quite unclear.

And it will prove the same for Abbas. A huge and crushing disillusion lies ahead. Israel's idea of a "peace process" is endless delays and excuses while establishing "new facts on the ground" (a.k.a. seizing other peoples' homes, orchards, and water supplies) with the regularity of around-the-clock operations at an automobile stamping plant.
