Lady friend's gone apoplectic ... but other than her, nah, just about 80% of Canadians. <g> Like the dude said, it was already in the fine print of the NORAD amendment (if I recall, one of our generals was even put in charge just to make nice). I've figured this was the way it was for a while now ... long as we gave up our sovereignty on defense and border issues, you'd let us keep our pot and gay marriage thang -- Rove doesn't really want to invade or annex us unless absolutely necessary. Former wouldn't look good in the eyes of the rest of the world, sorta like beating up your little brother, and the latter's just unthinkable, since we'd all vote democrat. <g> Anyway, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Martin's government fall on this in the next day or two ...
