It's a pure reversal of Vietnam, where the bad news came from the grunts.

Excellent way to put it Nadine. It's as if the GI's have to scream and fight to have their voices heard (via blogs and radio) and the MSM runs with the camera and mic to the enemy for an update on the situation.

I'm busy as a bee these days, but I hope to spend some time soon telling you and the thread about my time in Cameroon, Gabon, Nigeria and Ghana. Fascinating places! I'll be going to a "slave cave" in a few days.

That's sure to be heart wrenching...

'will you shut up about how the insurgents are winning?

The MSM has really made enemies of the military and their families. My hostility has certainly grown. I don't think I would be as hostile if I hadn't been following them so closely here, and seen on a day to day basis just how they frame and slant the news to fit their political opinion.

When you read their protests, you have to believe that many of them don't see what they are doing. But they are now well aware that they are holed up in their newsrooms, with a hostile readership at the gates.
