From a TA perspective, is the $21.99 relevant? ...

It could, considering the fact that in the monthly chart, PFE had been on a non-interrupted Up-Trend that started in October 1994 from the 6.24 level but then in July 1997 the stock opened at 20.08 had a H of 21.58 and closed at 19.88 (down for the month on an increasing volume of 292,553,088.<g>)

However, the correction to the L in August 1997 of 17.02 was short and the up-trend accelerated the following month after crossing the 21 level, to reach the H in April 1998 at 40.

The L on the "correcton" in October 1998 was 28.67 and since then, the lowest the stock had traded, was 25.13 in July 2002 until the 21.99 on Dec.17 and as I mentioned, the recent up-trend started on that day.<g>
