VSYS - .97 x 1.01. Many of us have urged them to breakout some numbers on MESH, to show its potential. Clearly, this PR has hit home as they awaken to the fact that the stock has lost almost 2/3'ds of its value from the high.

Viscount's MESH Access Control System Sales Update: 2005 Orders Surpass 2004 Sales Totals

Viscount's MESH Access Control System Sales Update: 2005 Orders Surpass 2004 Sales Totals

BURNABY, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 2/22/05

Viscount Systems today announced The Company has shipped or booked more of its MESH access control systems to date in 2005 than it did through all of 2004. Projects to date include sites in the US, Canada, India, China, France and New Zealand.

"While we continue to enhance our core technology, we have passed the early commercialization stage of MESH,” said Stephen Pineau, President and CEO of Viscount. “We have many more projects committed, some up to 2007, and while the sales cycle of Enterprise and new construction projects can be long, we are now shipping increasing numbers of systems for immediate retrofit.”

Added Pineau: "In 2003 sales of MESH field trials totaled $95,000. In 2004, as we began to enter commercialization, we increased our sales to more than $400,000. Although it is early in 2005, we already have committed projects that surpass last years totals. I estimate that by Q3 2005, MESH will surpass EnterPhone as our prime revenue generator.

"It is interesting to note that when we began designing MESH, many in the industry did not think we could succeed because MESH is so different from traditional technology. Special Security and IT conferences are now concluding that the future of physical security is operating systems using intelligent devices that eliminate “middle-ware controllers”. MESH is the only access-control system built on this architecture.”
